Our Mission
GiftDrive is a free online platform designed to help nonprofits run donation drives and wish lists for in-kind and physical item donations. Our mission is simple: to make giving easier, more transparent, and more impactful for both nonprofits and donors.
We believe that no one should have to struggle to meet basic needs, and that technology can help bridge the gap between generous communities and those doing good work on the ground.
How It Started
GiftDrive was born out of a University of Vermont classroom in fall of 2024 when three students, Logan Vaughan (UVM '27), Miro Gohacki (UVM '25), and Corinne Atwell (UVM '27), saw how challenging it was for local organizations to manage in-kind donation drives and wishlists.
After interviewing dozens of Vermont nonprofits, the team learned that most struggle to track donations, collect donor info, send tax receipts, and communicate needs effectively. Many local nonprofits still rely on spreadsheets, email chains, or paper lists to organize drives, leaving donors guessing what's actually needed and how to give, and nonprofit staff buried in logistics.
GiftDrive was built as a solution to both sides of the problem. On GiftDrive, nonprofits create custom wish lists, like digital gift registries, with photos, item descriptions, and quantities of needed items. Donors can browse drives, purchase items directly on the platform, and ship them straight to the organization's door. GiftDrive helps nonprofits track donations as they come in, compile valuable donor contact information, and automate donors' tax receipts.
Since launching in early September 2025, GiftDrive has helped Vermont organizations like the Williston Community Food Shelf, COTS, Good Samaritan Haven, and Rally Cats Cupboard collect hundreds of essential items, from boxes of pasta to bottles of shampoo, worth thousands of dollars in total donations. "Our goal is to empower nonprofits across Vermont to save valuable time and resources while connecting with new and younger donors," said Logan Vaughan, one of GiftDrive's co-founders.
Whether you are a nonprofit looking to run a more efficient drive or a donor wanting to give directly to local causes, GiftDrive makes it simple to make an impact. Nonprofits can start their first drive today at giftdrive.org and simplify their next campaign. Donors can browse local drives at giftdrive.org and give items that make a direct impact in their community.
Meet the Team
The passionate founders dedicated to making donation drives simple and effective

Corinne Atwell
A lifelong volunteer and former Girl Scout, Corinne has always found joy in helping others and giving back to her community. Throughout high school, she coordinated annual Thanksgiving food drives for local families and volunteered with nonprofits across Greater Philadelphia, contributing over 300 hours of service and earning her the Silver Presidential Service Award. Now, Corinne is excited to continue supporting communities on a broader scale through her work at GiftDrive and looks forward to helping nonprofits make the biggest impact possible!

Logan Vaughan
Rooted in a lifelong passion for helping others, Logan's commitment to service began early through his church's charity work and years of community involvement in the Boy Scouts. In high school, he organized Family Fun Day, a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Vermont that raised over $3,500 to support children facing critical illnesses. Those experiences shaped his belief that meaningful impact starts with simple acts of kindness. Today, that same value-driven mindset fuels his work at GiftDrive, where he is dedicated to building tools that make it easier for nonprofits and communities to come together and help those in need.

Miro Gohacki
A Computer Science graduate from UVM with experience in software development and systems management at several local Vermont companies. Miro currently works in Digital Operations at Beta Technologies. He architected and built GiftDrive's entire platform, bringing his passion for technology and problem-solving to help nonprofits streamline their donation processes.
