Growing A New Heart

Interrupt Abuse and Make Community Reliably Safe for All of Us Our goal: $10,585 to fund one month of responder services on A Call For Change Helpline. Our vision is that people who use harmful or abusive behavior in relationship—and who want to change—have a confidential and anonymous place to be challenged and guided as they begin their transformation, accountability and healing process. We are here for people who are worried about their own behavior—so they can take that first step toward change and accountability—even before they escalate to harm-doing. We’re here for family members and friends who want to call for guidance on how to encourage change while prioritizing safety. We’re here for survivors who want to know what true change looks like. We are here to create the conditions for reliably safe community through A Call For Change Helpline, a free, confidential resource created and stewarded by Growing A New Heart. Trained responders help people recognize abusive patterns, and beliefs, grasp the full impact of their behavior, develop connection, and practice reliably safe ways of relating. The helpline also supports survivors seeking clarity about their relationships, along with family members, friends, and professionals who want to help interrupt abuse safely. This work addresses a critical gap in our communities. We need ways to prevent harm, support accountability, and create the possibility of lasting behavioral change—not only respond after a crisis has occurred. Every call creates an opportunity to begin that process. We are raising $10,585 to sustain one month of responder services. We need to secure additional funding by April to help ensure the helpline can continue operating without a gap in service. By contributing now, you can help us prepare for that need and keep this vital resource available to people reaching for a different way forward.Your gift is more than a donation. It helps make room for accountability, change, and safer relationships. It helps build communities where people can take responsibility for harm and learn to do something different. Please give what you can today. Every contribution brings us closer to our goal. And if you can’t give right now, sharing this fundraiser helps spread the word and connect this work with people who care about creating a safer world.
