The Warmth & Recovery Campaign is a community-driven initiative by Turning Point Center of Rutland to collect essential clothing and household items for individuals and families facing financial hardship and recovery challenges.

Turning Point Center provides peer-based support to help people overcome substance misuse and rebuild their lives. Many in our community are navigating recovery while also confronting financial barriers that make it difficult to access warm clothing, boots, and basic household necessities.

Your donations offer more than comfort — they offer dignity, hope, and a tangible reminder that no one walks alone. Join us in wrapping Rutland in care and compassion this season.

Warmth & Recovery Campaign

At the Turning Point Center of Rutland, we provide peer-based recovery support for individuals navigating substance use, mental health challenges, and housing instability. We are a safe, welcoming space where people are met with compassion—not judgment—and reminded that healing is possible.

But recovery starts with the basics: warmth, nourishment, safety, and dignity.

That’s why we’re launching a year-round gift drive focused on collecting urgently needed survival items for the most marginalized and high-risk members of our community—those who are unhoused, in early recovery, or facing crisis.

We’re seeking donations of:

- 🛏️ Tents & sleeping bags  
- 🍲 MREs & shelf-stable food  
- 💪 Protein powders & nutrition support  
- 🩹 First aid kits  
- 🔦 Flashlights & batteries  
- 🦟 Bug repellent  
- 🧤 Warm gear, socks, gloves, and hygiene essentials
